My great fear is that Bernie gets the nomination, the Republicans destroy him with bits of his biography (videos, speeches praising Castro, the Sandinistas, you name it) and we lose the Supreme Court and all the progress we've made including Obamacare and 17 million people lose their insurance. Not to mention Democratic losses in down ballot races.

That's my real fear. And all because a Congressional back bencher spouts promises that are impossible to fulfill to an audience of young people who are gullible enough to believe him. Ethics? Conning is not ethical.
