(The 1/2 is a Democrats Abroad SD; they only count for 1/2 each.) Some of them will obviously stay uncommitted until the end - Obama, Biden, Wasserman Schultz don't want to give the impression of favoritism in their positions. If we're generous, that means 170 delegates that he can convince to join him.

Any attempts to 'poach' the 470 SDs that have declared for Hillary is pretty laughable. They've already stated a preference for her, and she's leading in both pledged delegates and votes, and states too. Very few of them, if any at all, will switch before or at the convention. It's pretty naive of Bernie Sanders to think that they will switch because some very untrustworthy polls say that Sanders can beat Trump in the GE, when the same polls say that Clinton can beat Trump too.
