he would gain super delegates were they alloted based on whether the candidate won the state in the primary. While that might give Sanders supporters a feel-good second or two, it would still not get him to the number needed to win the nomination. It would also negate what is his only chance left in hell, ie: convincing super delegates currently committed to Hillary to realign themselves with him. They won't be able to do that if the right to commit to a candidate has been taken away from them.
