NYS gave President Barack Obama and Vice President Joe Biden 63.35% of its vote, one of only six states where the ticket improved their performance over 2008, when they took 62.88% of the vote.

It was the the second largest Democratic vote share in the state in history.

In 1964, 68.56% of NYS's vote went to LBJ/HH, winning every county in the most dominating outcome in a presidential election in the state in history.

New York County aka Manhattan Island (primarily) has voted for the Democrat in every presidential election at least as far back as Kennedy-Nixon in 1960. (I believe that it actually goes back further than that, to before FDR, but did not have the time to go looking for the data.)
