This is how the party is structured, and if they don't like it they can go elsewhere as far as I'm concerned. The Party needs a wee bit of control on its nomination process otherwise it is susceptible to lunatic hijackings (yes I'm looking at you Donald Trump).

And no, I'm not comparing Bernie to Donald...he (Bernie) is my solid 2nd choice should something go wrong.
