So that seems like a specious argument. It's an attention-seeking stunt with no actual impact on anything. But hey, these two got to be interviewed on TV!

Black people elevated out of poverty by their actions: None.
Black people release from prison due to their actions: None.
Black people whose quality of life improved because of their actions: Only theirs.
