The handsome, charismatic, smiling guys who everybody in the press says to be competent, intelligent, etc, etc.

Reminds me of Fernando Collor, their only hope to beat Lula in 1989.

They get him elected with overwhelming support of media, who tried to scare the voters labeling Lula as a fanatic, and praised Collor as "O caçador de Marajás" (hunter of "marajás", people with close connections to government and taking advantage of the system to enrich themselves - what Collor and his friends themselves were). Was impeached after million of Brazilians went to the streets asking him to resign.

It's now their candidate!

Aécio as Superman, with the green button "confirm" of the voting machines.

I have some respect for his grandfather, Tancredo, though. He was a moderate. He opposed the coup, the junta and in fact tried to make a difference during dictatorship, but within the sytem. I believe he was probably killed by the hard line of ARENA.

Really sad to see Axelrod collaborating with Aécio. But won't change a thing, Dilma will kick his ass.
