8. Love that photo of Rene Gonzalez and his daughter. At least he's going home.

I'm sure nothing that happened to them here surprised any of them in the least, after the great shock of having the FBI ignore their gathered information they brought them so long ago, from their investigation of the "exile" terrorists who'd been terrorizing national Cubans, only to be suddenly attacked and arrested when they were back at home, then tried in a court filled with "exile" terrorists from South Florida, sitting and sneering at them from the audience.

Talk about a large scale betrayal, that had to be among the worst they could have ever imagined. No wonder the first appeals court overturned the verdict, and what a shame the prosecutor went shopping until the States got a finding which finally kept them in prison, anyway.

Very dirty dealings, which should have been below the standards of a U.S. American court, as we used to believe they were.

Rene Gonzalez has conducted himself from the first like a national hero. He has friends and admirers all over the world.
