I noticed this comes from Venezuelanalysis, a Venezuelan government website. I got the feeling this is part of a well organized campaign to put Cuba and Venezuela within some sort of Federal regime. I see too much smoke so I guess there must be a fire.

The interesting issue you guys will have to deal with is Cuba's abandonment of communism. I hear they are becoming so involved in their move towards Chinese style "socialism" they have an emerging real estate market and plan to build houses on brand new golf courses. This is going to be a bit of a shock to old style revolutionaries like Ali Rodriguez, I suppose.

But the Cubans are definitely a lot better managers, and once Diaz Canel takes over, they will abandon a lot of the old marxist dogma. This young guy is fresh blood and has a much sharper brain than the two old guys. Once they are out of the way Cuba is going to do much better, and it'll drag Venezuela along. My concern is that once these guys get capitalism in their blood, they forget the working class (look at China where savage capitalism rules and workers are treated like animals).

I got the feeling they'll end up dealing with the USA, kiss and make up. And the working class, same as always, will be getting exploited.
