Chavez "banned" private ownership of firearms over a year ago.

From this news article, we see how well that worked out...not.

I think, owing to the crime rate, they're more gun-nutty in VZ than in USA....

I think a coup is more likely to come from Diosdado Cabello and his Army associates than the USA.
