In general terms, most people supporting the coming of foreign doctors are men (59%), with elementary school (54%), sympathize with the Workers' Party (62%) and have a positive evaluation of the federal government (63%). Most of them live in the Northeast region (60%), mostly in middle-sized cities, with 50,000 to 200,000 inhabitants (60%).

Those who disapprove the project are more likely to have a graduation (52%), disapprove the government of Dilma Rousseff (52%) and live in big cities, with more than 500,000 inhabitants (46%).

In other words, most of those disapproving the government's plan don't need to use the health care system: they are more likely to have a graduation, therefore, a bigger income, and pay for their private health care, and to live in the big cities, where the problem of lacking of doctors is much smaller.
