2. Yup, that was a classic CIA/MIC media ploy...

Denying Venezuela military aircraft parts for planes that Venezuela BOUGHT FROM US, then...ouch!...BLAMING THEM for seeking military aircraft ELSEWHERE!

And all this (and more) to stop the Leftist tide of universal health care (not insurance corp-run), universal free education through college (not 'privatized' education), high employment with good jobs and good benefits (not slave labor), investment in "the Commons" (community centers, local health centers, public radio/tv, libraries, parks, public spaces, et al--not subsidies for the rich), use of the country's natural resources TO BENEFIT THE PUBLIC (not to bloat the 0.1%), honest elections (aw, Gawd!) and--most important of all to our overlords--alliance with OTHER Leftist governments to create a whole new ballgame in Latin America, of mutual support and benefit, and south-south trade.

I guess, in a way, you can understand the CIA/MIC's panic as these new Latin American governments, led by Venezuela, ignited social justice and democracy throughout South America and into Central America. It has been just so not CIA/MIC in any way: the People doing their own thing. The CIA/MIC's countermoves have, indeed, been like "shabby, nasty children," except that, with children, there is always hope for change and growth, whereas, with the CIA/MIC, not so much.
