in Latin America. American fast food is quite popular (not saying that is good) and western clothes is little different, if at all, from the US. Shopping malls are enormously popular.

Now given the prices under chavismo, whether people can afford to buy those coveted western clothes, if available, or those $14 Big Macs is another issue.
