they don't even vote because they say the system is rigged. But this guy went too far, even for them.
His little game to hand Guatemala's agricultural industry over to the Monstanto for inclusion in CAFTA when he thought everyone was distracted with the World Cup, didn't go unnoticed nor is it forgiven. This guy managed to piss everyone off, from the poor peasants to the business community from whom his administration was extorting huge bribes. I didn't think it could be done, especially with a pretty passive population that thinks they're screwed and it's all hopeless anyway.
He seems to have awaken a sleeping giant among the poor.
