1. Amazing. Charly García should watch his back, however! The fascists just might come after him.

It appears he is so famous now, any political attack on this man could have a huge, furious response. I would hope they'll not try to slap him down for his courageous voice.

The racist right-wing must feel it has a lot of power in Argentina to have even tried to slide Carlos Manfroni in office at the Ministry of Security. This man is clearly public about his racism.

Hope there won't be any vicious attacks on this artist from the new administration, as there used to be on musicians, writers, singers, and so many others, from the dictatorship.

I think he has enhanced his status with his supporters by delivering his public statement to Carlos Manfroni. If Manfroni tries to dodge admitting he was a fan, he'll look like a liar.

Thanks for this unexpected event. It's mind-boggling. So good to hear a BIG public stand taken against the fascism.

So glad to learn about Charly Garcia. I am amazed to hear some of his songs, and will remember his name, look for more songs. I see he has been working with US American artists, like Bruce Springsteen, and UK artists like Sting, and others I can't remember, for years. What an interesting multi-talented person.
