‘Harlistas’ hit the road: female bikers tour Cuba on vintage Harley-Davidsons
Cuba is on the brink of a new era, but photographer Götz Göppert still manages to find a classic ride as he joins five female friends on a bike tour of the island

The vintage Harley-Davidsons were hired from Fernando Barreras Rodriguez, a middle-aged Spaniard who had his collection of bikes lined up in the suburban oceanside street in Havana where he lives – the oldest a pink Knucklehead from 1941, the youngest a red Panhead from 1950.
