And you're absolutely right.

Plus, there may be more to this story.

There's already some reason to believe the attack was staged: The weapon looked like a retractable plastic prop; no blood on the knife at all, or his shirt or the white towel applied at the time; no gloves, oxygen mask, or blood in the ER; the fact that Bolsonaro's sons knew the assailant; his unusually speedy recovery, etc.

I'll reserve judgment for the time being, as it's still early. But I certainly wouldn't put it past him.

He's already in outpatient care, which is good. If he was genuinely injured, my best wishes to him for a full recovery; if not, may the truth come out.
