Freedom of speech has never been a subject of interest for the Latin American media. The same thing that happens in Venezuela happens elsewhere in the continent. Media is concentrated in a small group of wealthy families that impose censorship whenever they want. Newspapers, magazines, TVs, all of them behave like illegal political parties, making clear opposition to the governments while whitewashing or censoring news that are negative to the legal oppositionist political parties. A great question. Who voted for these newspapers for them to engage like political agents?

Thank you for the article, PeacePatriot.
