There is considerable evidence of an ancient connection between the Incans and Mayans and the people of China. There’s DNA evidence, and also similarities in language and art, all of which suggest that the Chinese visited the New World long before any Europeans. The Chinese have valued astronomy for millennia, so that’s yet another similarity in cultures.
