That drug was proven largely ineffective, may only be of minimal if any benefit, and far too risky. Hydroxycholorquine actually would cure corona if taken in doses that would IMMEDIATELY KILL THE PATIENT!!! It's been discontinued by all practitioners I know, who were dubious about prescribing it to start with.
The tolerated doses of Hydroxy block some of the cell receptors that corona attaches itself to but not a high percentage. Again, the actual effective dose is LETHAL amounts. But not enough to make any difference whether your own immune system takes care of it or not.
