1. Fernndez is holding his own very well, and it's good for the country.

He inherited the same problems which were handed to the previous progressive presidents who served well prior to Macri:
economic recovery, debt refinance, with the added nightmare of the pandemic.

From what I could gather, as a newcomer to learning Argentina's history, the really painful struggle was initiated by the fascist military dictatorship which seized power and destroyed 30,000 suspected leftists, people tortured and murdered, some simply vanished into thin air, and some were flown into the air and dropped into the Pacific Ocean, or rivers, chained to other political prisoners.

Every bit of progress since then has been accomplished by progressive leaders, with some darkness intervening while right-wing forces survaced again long enough to drag the country down, all over.

Everyone will come to admire what Fernández is doing, I have no doubt, everyone who realized what had happened just prior to his election for the past 4 years. He was left with a ferocious, unpardonable debt, while a group of right-wing madmen and women made out like bandits. Wait, they WERE bandits.

Even in that photo, President Alberto Fernández radiates calm, peacefulness, and wisdom. He looks very capable. Hope the country will make an effort to really, really support his hard work during this intense assignment he has volunteered to handle.

Thanks, sandensea.
