We'll see in mid-term elections this Sunday whether Fernández's efforts are being appreciated or not.
The first round was not encouraging - though a higher-than-average abstention suggests, in the polling, that those who stayed home are largely pro-Fernández voters. And they might just show up on Sunday.
But will they? Stay tuned.
