(3,387 posts)Actually, I was thinking it might be that too much of the green stuff, a.k.a. cash, otherwise known as the Federal Reserve Note, is still disappearing into the second-hand wormhole market in Louisiana where TPTB have yet to hire the number of analysts needed to track the plastic transactions of their constituency, i.e., think the banksters big plastic aid contracts, so they'll know better where to squeeze. Nor will it do TPTB any benefit to have private mattresses stuffed w/dollar bills; it's harder, with stiffer penalties, to siphon that off, requiring multitudinous "mistaken" home invasions and arsons. Electronically, it can just GO POOF!
Yup, I think we can blame Louisiana for the dropping dollar...LOL.
