8. Well despite the very cold rain

I rode my bike yesterday. Good choice because there was an accident that had traffic backed up the better part of a mile on the way home and I was able to breeze on by. Still, experience tells me this is the most dangerous time of year to be biking, with it pitch black during commuting hours, the holidays, which seen to distract drivers more than normal and the usual rain here in Portland.
