US debt to China was $1.2 trillion as of November 2017.
And China has stopped buying US Bonds!

The trade deficit to China is $0.5 Trillion EVERY YEAR.
Do the math. If you are mathematically challenged,
the debt to China is less than 3 years trade deficit.

Conclusion: Debt is nothing compared to growing imbalance of trade EVERY YEAR, YEAR AFTER YEAR.
