I thought he got an additional loan. You may be right about this though.

Update: I just read a report that indicated that it was a Qatari financial organization that provided $1.1 billion to reduce the original debt. Not sure if it was a complete buyout or not. Whatever, it's all dodgy. And I hope Jared gets to enjoy some time in custody just like his dad did.
