1. It is sad but certainly why folks came to America...better life, better opportunity. Now Canada's turn I guess

Would be interesting to hear what the statistics are on number of people from the US, taking Canada up on this. Lots of Hispanic immigrants to the US are in the trades and will be especially interesting to see if many of them go for this. Many folks think fondly of Canada until they realize how far north and how cold much of the country gets in the winter. Moving from north tier US states may not be a shock in that regard but moving from TX, CA, FL, AZ, etc. will be.
