... Obama has not, no matter how we spin it.

O'Neill vowed that the Reagan plan would not get through HIS CONGRESS, and he had to eat crow, since Reagan lead and did not make excuses.

Gingrich was on top of the world. He'd just redefined what a midterm election gain was, having taken the pulse of the nation, like never before. Brilliant. But rather than make excuses, Bill Clinton lead, and played hard ball, unintimidated by Gingrich and his newly elected and uber loyal Congress.

Name on thing that Obama has done that even comes close.
