... have the highest MW in the nation (WA) which is $9+ already.

Problem is, local MWs do not work, and become a pure cost-side element, since nothing is done on the demand-side (other companies paying their workers more) to offset.

So, yeah; Obama need to do more than pay lip service to it. Lead on it, as he did extending Bush Tax Cuts for the rich, and is now doing to lower Corporate Tax Rates.
