3. Very great counterpoint! In my high school senior classes,

I have mine make up a lesson plan and demonstrate it on a seemingly-simple topic, like how to tie your shoes. They're always astonished at the work they have to put in it to make it work.

I find this eliminates all the second-guessing and jargon-excuses, like "You're not teaching the way I learn" and so on.

And garners a teeny bit of respect for three decades of doing that daily, 6 times a day.
