1. "we cannot shut this down"

because way too many people who talk about WANTING to "do something about it" vote for neo-liberal Democrats who LIKE privatization and profiting off of "public" services.

So elected politicians who will work for positive change are rare.

There's a simple solution:

Universal, FREE, FULLY PUBLIC education pre-school through college or trade school.

It's getting such a simple thing through our corrupt capitalist system that is not only not simple, but basically not possible as long as a majority of voters enable the corruption.

Just like the problem with health care "reform."
