The bastards wrecked havoc on my attempts at converting my yard to a permaculture system. Ruined vegetable beds, perennial crops with the roots eaten away, even girdling and killing several fruit trees in my small orchard.

They are not with us anymore. Now that my permaculture plantings are more established though, I wouldn't object to them re-establishing a population on my property again.
