Now if they could make all the damned plastic tubs used to package food in the grocery store into something compostable/edible/recyleable (just because it is recycleable, doesn't mean your area will take it)...I hate the styrofoam meat trays, and the clear plastic salad tubs and dairy tubs and all of it. Some of it is recycleable now, but not nearly enough. Lets go back to waxed paper that is compostable...or burnable (turn it into energy).

And everyone...please invest a couple of bucks in the reusable cloth bags. Mine only cost $1 each at Fred Meyer. I do ask for paper bags sometimes, as I need those for something else...but I never take plastic bags if I can help it. I need to make my own net bags for produce too, but I don't have a sewing machine right now. It's on my list of important things to get. Soft plastic bags are recycleable, so I'm OK with them as long as they are recycled, but I still see too many hung up in fences and trees.

Why oh why are so many people so clueless about littering?
