Seems we are slowly replacing all the wind driven mills. I am sorry to see them go. We have really bad hail storms in this part of Texas. We once had about $30,000 worth of damage done. It is on my list to talk to the insurance agent before going any further. Pretty sure it is not in original policy but wondering about a rider. Another rancher says he has installed several solar units but it has only been two years since the installation and we haven't had any bad hail storms during that time.
