Actually say what you want, nobody believes it anyway!
I live just South of Topeka in a little community area that covers about 5 square miles with around 260 people so not big but close to Topeka and Lawrence with KC only about 65 miles away and Manhattan about 60 miles away. I do like Emporia but have not spent a lot of time there, I have quite a few friends around there who are teaching music at Emporia State, we play together in Topeka. I was born in Topeka and have traveled all over this country and a lot of the world. I am content to settle here on my farm very close to where my family homesteaded in the 1800's. My history of free stater ancestors (including friends and companions with John Brown)and members of the first free state governing body keeps me solidly here. Brownback made it miserable for a while but we recover and will begin to build back, already getting a good start.
Nice to know another happy Kansas resident.
