I shouldn't have been surprised--EVs and government facilities [View all]

I was talking to someone last night who works for the U.S.government at a huge center with thousands of employees. I think the building might be LEED certified. It was built about 12+/- years ago. I asked where the chargers are for employees with electric vehicles. There are NONE.

I remember a time of prominent sustainability experts working on the "Green White House" in the late 80s/early 90s. I looked this up and realized it is, of course, dead in the water thanks to you-know-who. Why am I surprised? Not only are they not encouraging the use of evs for employees, opportunities for cost savings and policy having anything to do with climate change are over, too.
