The "by 2050" or by "such and such" a date always refers to the reactionary so called "renewable energy" nirvana that did not come, is not here, and won't come.

They see lots of ads about electric cars and wind turbines, have no idea about how these things are manufactured or how long they last and they just plug along happily.

If they think they care, they cruise to websites and watch poorly disguised ads for Tesla cars and Ford electric trucks.

It's not like there will be hell to pay. There is hell to pay, and the payments will get larger and larger.

In the minds of these people, even though nuclear energy is "too dangerous," climate change isn't, air pollution isn't, and the bodies continue to pile up while they repeat these mantras with every more criminal disinterest.
