to add to the reservoirs. Rain in the City itself only drains to the delta and out to the Bay, What is most important for the irrigation and water season is how much falls in the foothills that drains to the dams and how much snow pack we have to hold us until early summer.

This was a godsend as far as the water season goes. There was quite a bit of local street flooding but that dissipated rather quickly. I drove all over South Sacramento yesterday and saw a few downed trees, but very little flooding left over. The roads were, for the most part, clear and moving traffic at regular speeds.
