Hunters handling deer after the kill, meat processors handling it. They aren't seeing transmission from deer to human.....yet. But they definitely say to expect new variants from mutation in the deer.

And my brother just gave Mr. Bayard some deer salami for xmas.

Quote from the movie, "Starman",

- Starman: Do people eat people?
- Jenny Hayden: Of course not. What do you think we are?
