What a horrible, painful way to die.

"an experimental feeding program last year in which more than 202,000 pounds (91,600 kilograms) of lettuce funded mainly by donations, was fed to manatees," sounds like the least we can do. Wonder if they'd eat water lettuce? That stuff grows in ponds like crazy (except mine--the ducks love it).
