...the proposal would eliminate incentives for rental property OWNERS (as well as schools, farms, and other "shared spaces"
to install solar on those "shared" types of buildings.
Neither Renters OR the Owners of those types will be able to use electric generated on the building or benefit from the sale of that electricity to the grid. Only single family homes would have the option of creating electricity and benefitting from rooftop solar installations.
