Sunday

Spent most of 2012 caring for my dying father in law around 50 miles west of Midland.

The smell of gas in the air was, in my opinion, nauseating. There was a gas leak in the house and no one noticed until it got chilly and we closed the windows. But when my sister in law came to take her shift she took a deep breath and said “I’ve missed that smell. Good to be home.”
That’s when I knew…..
