I have a booklet on my bookshelf titled "Why Not Eat Insects?" by Vincent M. Holt, first printed in 1885.

Yes, bugs are yucky.
But they can be ground up and made into bread.
Or fed to the cows.

I believe that between the larvae and hemp seeds, we could feed the world.
Of course, that wouldn't be profitable...
