A CBC report, from 7:30pm last night, said that they made it out of the area but until they are seen again, nobody will know for certain what their fate actually turns out to be. There was a slight warming over the bay the last couple days but another arctic wave is headed that way, it's already hitting here in Montana... only single digits today with clouds to hold in the cold or warmth, however you look at it. If it were clear, it could be much colder! We had a week of -22F at the beginning of the year.

I'm looking forward to more good news about the Orcas though, and still keeping a private vigil.
