I thought we were dealing with people that merely wanted to protect their livelihoods. I can't blame them for that even though it a livelihood that is bad for the environment. I wish I could change that overnight. But, I can't I have to deal with the reality that people ranch and want to protect that. I strongly disagree with their method of protection especially since as you state it's not really about that it's just about killing an animal that doesn't need to be killed.

This is really sad to me. Wolves are another animal that people don't need to kill. Probably foxes as well, but I don't hear about them being hunted too much. I think I would rather live around these animals than the animals that hunt them for sport and pleasure.
