It's a shame that old world mythology is the rule instead of people actually catching up to what goes on in the world at the present time. At least half these folks live in a world that's been gone for over a century. I live in these parts and the wolf hunt is especially ugly, two packs that I used to track and watch are now gone thanks to hunting and most of the wolves being studied in the national parks that had collars were the first to be killed. Meaning that these guys were sitting on the boundary of the park with "calls" luring these wolves outside the boundary and then killing them, they were likely monitoring their collar frequencies as well. I know a whole lot more about the wolf issue than the coyotes but today it's a coyote issue that is on the menu, it will wolves again tomorrow no doubt.

These folks just want to kill predators and for all the most insane reasons, that they claim to be real (like WMDs in Iraq for instance) but actually it's about killing predators because, well, you know, god gave them the right to kill their competition and that there is why they do it, oh and it's fun and a tradition. It's really a sad commentary for us as a society just like the other issues we discuss on this web site.
