2. I think there's a need to reeducate orientals.

People in the orient have a tendency to eat very exotic food and will pay a lot to get it, even if its not sensible to kill a creature and toss away most of the body. The Japanese hunt whales and the newly emerging Chinese capitalist class is copying this trend demanding all sorts of sea creatures and exotic meats to satisfy a really dumb hedonist and consumerist mind set.
