11. Nuclear fission has proven risks

Personally, I am willing to face the risks associated with nuclear fission, in as much as I don’t believe we can afford to immediately shut down all nuclear power plants.


You perceive possible risks with CCS.

Unless our understanding of Greenhouse Gases is completely wrong, we need to reduce the levels of CO[font size="1"]2[/font] in the atmosphere dramatically and soon.

Build all the nuclear plants you like, but unless they are capturing and sequestering carbon, they won’t avoid a climate disaster.
