6. I worked at a re-refined oil canning plant in the 50s.

The plant belonged to the dad of a friend.
As young teens we worked there one summer.

He and folks who worked for him went around collecting 'used' oil from filling stations and garages. They processed and canned it in the plant.
Wish I could remember the brand name.
