13. CCS actually can help reduce carbon

If you burn renewable fuels (e.g. biomass) and capture and sequester the carbon, it is a net negative. (Remember the biochar concept?)

However, if we go to capturing atmospheric CO[font size="1"]2[/font] (which I believe we may have to) we’ll need some way(s) to store it.
